The local company pays this site a fee for each referral. Homeowners pay this site nothing. Because the site is paid when a request reaches the company, it has a reason to send requests along, and that is why every page footer discloses the arrangement.
If you call
You first hear a short recorded notice that calls are recorded for quality assurance. For now a message line picks up. Leave your name, a number to reach you and a sentence about what you want done: a lawn, a dog area, a putting green or a play space. A local company then calls you, usually the same business day.
If you send the form
What you type goes to the company, which may answer by phone, text or email. It is not sold, and it does not put you on a marketing list. The privacy page lists what is kept and for how long.
